Christine Rutkowski is a Contract Communications Associate for the Fund, taking on a broad range of special projects and supporting operational effectiveness. Her journey with the Fund began as a summer intern in 2020 assisting in development research support and qualitative data analyses for The Paradox Prize. A year later, she returned to the Fund to expand her knowledge of economic development and helped research best practices in workforce development for manufacturing and long-term care. Now, Christine works on a variety of tasks from organizational information management and grant tracking to research and content creation.

Christine takes great pride in her work and believes her time at the Fund is what inspired her future career in public service. Currently, Christine is a student at New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service, pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration as a member of the third annual class of Georgina & Charlotte Bloomberg Public Service Fellows. Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Political Science & Economics (PPE) with minors in Business Administration and Women’s Gender & Sexuality Studies from Ohio State University. When she isn’t working or at school, you can find Christine watching (or sometimes even performing) stand-up comedy.
